Hey, I'm in pre-searing right now and I need to get a quest from Overan that will reward me with two necromancer skills... but I cant seem to find him. I'm told that he's in the catacombs but I cant seem to locate him, the catacombs not having a map doesnt help either.

Also wondering, are minion masters very effective in the game? I know they'll be horrible in PvP but are they decent in PvE?

If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he's the "Charr in the Catacombs" guy too.

BTW the U map works in the catacombs, which should help you find your way.

If you remember when you first met the Necro lady in the Cats, and she gave you the first quest to learn the Necro skills... You have to go in that direction to start.

In case you don't remember, enter the cats, and go left, down the stairs, and down the next stairs that go down to the right. Then you have the first choice of left or right. Left goes to where the "rites of remembernce" quest was. Go RIGHT, and follow along into the big room. Once in the big room, on your immediate right is the passage that you went down to first master the Necro skills. PASS that passage and continue to the back wall. There is another passage there that goes off to the right. Go that way.

After that it's pretty straightforward from what I remember. It's a bit of a haul. Lots of spiders to kill.

It'd probably be easier to enter the Catacombs from Barradons Estate end. Just go through the portal and turn right before you get to the bridge with the Gargoyles. Follow that passage, take a right and you'll be in a big circular room, Oberon is about 40% of the way around there.

Ahhhh, just found the guy after wandering around. Seems like the quickest way that I can tell is to just go into the catacombs through the Wizard's Folly entrance and try to go as for Northwest as possible.

And thanks, that 'U' map command helped a bunch, didnt know it displayed the catacombs map XD
